I'm running for Town Meeting here in Amherst. Went to town hall and filled out the paperwork; it was suprisingly easy (didn't even have to show them any ID! How... refreshing!).
Probably the biggest qualifications I have to serve Town Meeting is that I'm patient and pragmatic. I have an idea in my head of the way I think things aught to be, but I also realize that radical changes are usually a bad idea; it's much better to get to where you're going taking small, incremental steps. Jump off a cliff and you'll probably get hurt.
